2017 Members Ladies’ Day
The event will follow the same format as the WGC World Match Play with a round robin. Each player will play each other once within each round robin group. The winners of each group will move onto the next stage. Any ties in the round robin portion will be broken by the results of the head to head match of the tied players.
All matches will be net scoring with 100% of handicaps being used. All players will require an official Golf Canada Handicap index. If you do not have one and wish to participate you must play off of zero.
Singles net match play as per RCGA Rules Guide:
- Singles Match Play In singles match play, the match is won by the player who is leading by a number of holes greater than the number of holes remaining to be played. After handicap allowances are determined: The higher-handicapped player receives the full difference in Course Handicap between the two players; the lower-handicapped player plays from scratch. (See Decision 9-4a/1.) Example: A player with a Course Handicap of 17 receives four strokes from a player with a Course Handicap of 13. The player receives them on the first four allocated handicap-stroke holes.
Round Robin brackets to begin play as of June 1st. All round robin matches are to be completed by Sunday July 9th. Elimination matches to be completed by Sunday August 6th. The Consolation and Championship final matches are to be completed by Sunday August 27th.
The entry fee is $20 per player. Please e-mail or call the pro shop to register to compete by Monday May 29th. email@example.com

The 2016 event will follow the same format as the WGC World Match Play with a round robin. Participants will choose their own playing partner and register as a twosome. The event will begin with groups of four teams, each team playing each other once. The winning team from each group will move onto single elimination matches. Any ties in the round robin portion will be broken by the results of the head to head match of the tied teams.
All matches will be net scoring and therefore all players will require an official Golf Canada Handicap index. If you do not have one and wish to participate you must play off of zero. The course handicap of all four players is reduced by the course handicap of the player with the lowest handicap, who then plays from scratch. Each of the other three players is allowed 100% of the difference.
Example: Players A, B, C & D have a course handicap of 5, 10, 15 & 20 respectively. Player A plays at scratch, B receives 5 strokes, C receives 10 strokes & D receives 15 strokes.
